DEPTHS

The "Depths" Series is the first series the artist has painted since arriving in Paris.

After having lived for years on the Mediterranean coast, the artist longs for the sea, the color of the water, the sound of the waves, the smell of the sea, those colorful sunsets, and it is for this reason that she undertakes this series.The paintings have been created through very thin layers of pigment that are applied one on top of another, creating the sensation of movement and depth of the tides and oceans. This series is a combination of painting and photography, where the artist merges painting with photography through macro shots, creating a new work that is a detail of the painting.

Immensity of seas and oceans, deep blue, turquoise green, crystalline waters.

Ecosystems filled with color and life.

Coral reefs, microscopic algae, fish. They create beauty and diversity under a blanket of water where the light diffuses.
